Who else thinks that making Chris Jericho champion was a really bad idea?

I think that when Chris Jericho was entered into the raw championship scramble was bad enough. But to make him win was one of the worst decisions they have ever made in the WWE community. If you agree with this please answer so that i know that i am not the only one. Can you reply if you agree and give reasons.

What?! whats wrong with u jericho being made champ was long over due i was quite shocked when he came out and when he won my jaw hit the floor. WWE did a good job with the twist, reminded me of the good old days, its just too damn predictable now and boring but props to the ending of the match didnt expect it at all!

No, I don't agree, I think out of all Raw superstars Jericho is possibly the best. Don't think anyone can argue that. But unless something happened to Punk (I've yet to look into it but I'll be watching Raw so hopefully that'll shed some light on it) I think it was one of the worst ways he could have won it. He has been extremely busy with HBK, he got his rump kicked in earlier on and then he shows up and wins the WHC.

Somebody also said give it to someone more deserving like Kane...or Rey?!? I still can't get over the fact that Rey has held the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE. Was clearly to give Eddie some sort of dedication. Rey is a mega face, but the reason WCW had a Cruiserweight title was so guys like Rey could hold singles gold. Sorry if I upset any Rey fans, but he should never hold anything above Intercontinental.

Well, judging from past experiences...maybe, and that's hard for me to say as a Jerichoholic. Raw's ratings went into a major slump the first time he won Undisputed gold, and it was at the height of heel Jericho popularity too.

Then again, back then there were better alternatives and options. Right now, Jericho's part of the hottest feud in the company against one of it's biggest faces, and considering the other alternatives for the championship (JBL, Kane, Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, Batista) a Y2J reign looks pretty appealing.

thats one of the best desicions the wwe is made in a while..i was already sick and tired of botchtista always getting the title push, kane just needs to go back to his masked self which im hoping he will do, and to be honest cm punk does not deserve to be champion at all, at least not right now because he is only been in the wwe for like 2 years, and if some of you think that jericho doesnt deserve to be champion but mysterio does then your the morons because ray was out for like 2 months....I think jericho being champion is good for the wwe..i was also hoping that hhh would finally give the belt up but i guess hes just to much of a douche bag for that

Chris Jericho is an excellent wrestler, and he deserves the championship. As someone that has been a fan of his since 1999, I couldn't believe it when he won, and I was really happy. No one deserves it more than him, and if anyone disrespects that, then phooey on them.

The World/WWE title are nothing unless they've been held by a solid heel... after the HBK fued Y2J is the best heel for the job. No one on Raw is more hated than Jericho. I'm a jericho fan and I love watching his work as a heel.. to be honest I was tierd of his Baby face run. so people should just shut up and watch. He's not going to have the title for the rest of his life so take a chill pill bud. He's going to lose it soon.
