If you want to study languages at Cambridge University, it says there would be a preparatory study at the interview. What does that exactly mean? Is it like you are given a passage in a foreign language and you need to answer questions asked about that passage?

when i went ( 2 years ago) i was given a poem in the foreign language and had to answer oral questions about it.
