Default Should students be allowed to wear jewellery to school?

Many students have been told to take their jewellery in school eventhough some people wear jewellery to show their religion and belief. Shouldnt we be allowed to express our religion, belief and our personality? theres been a lot of questions bout this in the news lately about a sikh girl who wears a religious bracelet.

Yer, i think it's fine, i hated it when i was at school cos i like my jewellery and they would make me wear only one ring a watch and a simple necklace. I think as long as it's not wayyyy over the top it's fine! And of course it's your own responisablity to not loose it!

I don't really see anything wrong with people being able to show their religion based on their jewelery? Besides, that would mean that I couldn't wear a cross on my chest...so i say no way
