Default Children learn a lot about sex,, in school, amongst peers, t.v. etc..?

But at what age would you recommend sitting down talking to them?

I'd say whenever they start wondering and asking. That's usually about the age of 9 or 10. But could be younger or older. It's up to the parents, not the school. I'm 14 and I skipped sex ed in 8th grade because of all the crap they do there. So it's up to what the parents think. Not what the school and friends say.

Just before puberty...so that they're prepared for the changes that will about to take place...the feelings they're going to feel & so that they know that its not wrong but natural.

I started answering questions at a level they could understand and then at 8 we read and discussed 'The Puberty Book' together. Now my daughters are 12 & 10 and talk to me and their dad about whatever is on their minds. Above all keep it relaxed.

Ms S

probably earlier for girls than boys. I would speak to my daughter (if I was ever so blessed) before she was a teenager
