Why do YOU participate in Y/A Politics section? Do you want to change

people's MINDS, or IMPRESS people, with? With your DEPTH? I'd like to think I do it for the former reason, but the latter MUST come into it sometimes, involuntarily.

I like to challenge people's entrenched opinions, it would be nice if I could change some minds, but mostly, I think I'm just a grumpy middle aged man behaving like an online Victor Meldrew.

I participate in Y/A politics because I like to be continually reminded of the stupidity of the voters and their lack of knowledge.

I participate because there are so many people with views that differ from mine.

I find it incredibly boring talking to people who agree with me all the time.

Apart from anything else someone sometimes asks a question or gives an answer that makes me look at things in a new way.

I participate because it amazes me how incredibly dumb Republican voters are. I am trying to work out their mind set for them to vote for a party that has ruined America over the last 8 years, unwilling to embrace change. Like not every Republican voter is a millionaire however they vote for a government that hurts them financially.

Maybe most Republican voters are like Bush - something not quite right in the brain?

I am not saying the Democrats have the answers either. I think America is screwed who ever forms government. There is no magic pill that will fix America over night. Our children and grand-children will be paying for our mistakes for many generations to come.

I use to go into marriage and divorce answers but i found more cheaters in politics to amuse me .
