Why don't our priests and politicians say "God bless the UK", like Americans bless

Aashiq - America respects other religions and allows freedom in their practice but that does not make them deny the countrys christian roots and base. They are proud of it. Why are muslims touchy about this in Britain and not in America?
Ok charles, i understand that but still it would be nice to hear it said - we are as reliant on God as any other nation

Because it sounds as though they are actually doing something, if it fails then it's gods fault. Generally know as apportioning blame.

Why should they?God loves us all and if we presume here or there to know how to please God and gain his blessing ,then why do we and the Priests and Politicians not practice what God requires and love each other and stop all the killing and fighting over things you cant take with you when you die, and by saying this will it change anything here or there for that matter?
