Clearly God and Jesus have nothing to do with the neopentacostal dominations because they broke away from the true teachings of Christ. They hide behind the religious majority because political powers seek the easiet passage to success. Pretending they are advocates of God's word is a clear example of what Jesus warned about.
If Jesus walked into a raindance to change weather for political gain and took a look at the pure hatred for poverty that the neoconservatives have, he'd flip over the tables. ( much like he did in the temples when he saw politics and gambling being held in the temple of jeruselem.)
Jesus Christ is an advocate for poverty and unconditional love for your fellow and at the same time NEVER passing judgment. Every republican delagate and politican that has made thier "county first" thier only issue, is tossing aside direct teachings of Jesus Christ that don't fit into thier greed consumed lives. They cannot out sin you on Saturday and out pray you on Sunday. Palin on a sad note, did nothing but pass judgement upon those who see the world differently. This is the exact opposite of what is taught by priests and true christians.
I've studied Jesus' teaching extensivly. To use his word as a tool for personal gains, political arm wrestling and to develop greed is the anti-christ at work. I see a good thing from the new leader of the Roman Catholic Church. He can see that preaching politics has no place in Church and vise versa.
