Default UK: Is there a more uncharismatic politician than our Chancellor?

He really gets on my nerves.... and he is useless.
Geedsuk:- I loved the fighting skill(z) of Prescott.
Personally, charisma is not the be and end all for a politician.

However, when you are dithering, incompetent AND dull you have to wonder - why bother?

If he was getting the job done he could be as boring as he liked.

I'd worry less about the charisma bypass, and more that Darling and Brown combined seem clueless now they finally have a little local difficulty in the economy; they got too arrogant when all was going well for the previous decade, and a bit of real trouble has found them out as useless. We can all make hay while the sun shines !!

Forgive me for speaking common sense here, but charisma in my politicians can go to the dogs. I'd rather a grey and dull politician than an incompetent one.

Not that the present Chancellor is competent. But charisma should have no consideration.

To be perfectly honest;Gordon Brown has as much charisma and talent as a bagful of snails.
Although I agree with the questioner that charisma is not the 'end all and be all in politics! But will the questioner agree with me that talent in politics is a must, and talent is something this idiot Gordon Brown just does not have!
Yes!I agree'Gordon Brown is just plain useless!
The point is;What hold has this political idiot have over the the Labour Party and why are they still supporting him in public? When they perfectly know he is a vote loser!
What has happened to those consciences of the Labour Party;Harriet Harman,Jim O'Donnal and Frank Field! Have they been 'muzzled' by Gordon Brown's band of political cretins?

There are lots but there is no point mentioning them, as you wouldn't know their names.

Grey/ white hair and black eyebrows, he looks so comical. Never liked the man. Him and GB are worse than Bliar and Brown. At least Bliar had charisma.

Hariett Harman, Jacqui Smith, Patricia Hewett, Hazel Blears.

And yes I do seem to have picked only "wimmin" here. But Darling was already taken.
