"Man is a political animal"
Socrates of Athens.
The great philosopher and thinker, Socrates, put his mind to work on the subject of the people [mankind] and our politics and political thinking.
Our entire lives are governed by our political ideas and the political will of the people, which is made manifest at an election.
The electorate here in UK are now dissatisfied with their elected government and want change.
Here in London we have already elected a Conservative Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, known otherwise as BoJo.
The knock on effect is now quite evident here to me in London where I live and there is growing demand for change.
The next General Election here in UK is not due until 2010. In the meantime, you'd imagine in a sane world that TeamGBs return from the Olympics with so much gold and other Olympic medals, would boost the government's place in the polls, but it has not. In fact things are so bad for the Gordon Brown UK.gov that the only hope for Labour is a fine British Coup - one which results in the decapitation of Gordon Brown.
Even if Labour do manage to somehow elect themselves a new leader before the next general election, there is no guarantee that the people will elect Labour back to power.
On the contrary, the people are now so dissatisfied with Labour, there is not even the slightest chance of their recovery in the polls.
I've seen all this before and know from my own gut feeling that the next general election will see the people return a Conservative UK.gov to power.
In politics it is not a matter of hating the people you do not agree with, but simply opposing them at every opportunity. Thus when the people are asked to cast their votes, they will know what to do.
