Default Ohhh guys and the stupid dating games they play. Grrrr. Is 28 too old to play...

...it? Any advice? Im 21.I dont like it how the 28 yr old guy Im flirting with is not into me. He has to go to Europe next wk for 3 mnths & still hasnt text me to go out for coffee for this like he planned.

He works 3 minutes away from me in the city and he cant spare 10 min-15min to see me for coffee? If he really was into me he'd make sure to ask me out before anyone else does.

He made it sound like he was gonna ask me out when I told him 'if u want that coffee, ud have asked by now'. He said 'I'll see how things go this week".

So today i received a text message from him that he had written at 3 am today while drunk. It said 'love ya'. He told me last week he may send me one (i thought he was joking), because he'd be going out to party a couple of times this week.

I feel so silly and naive for falling for his charade and playing into his game

Im smarter than this, yet I fell for it. He is probably laughing his @$$ off for the way he's lied to me and how he got away with it.
That 'love ya' text message really annoyed me and I thought it was quite sleazy.

Obviously i didn't reply to his assonine text message.

If he wasnt playing games, why on earth would he send such a message?

Yes he's being immature. Find someone else. He will be the one that ends up lonely not you! Dont play the game anymore. If he was interested he would've made the effort. Move on hun you deserve better.

He's obviously not into you, why do you keep chasing him?

Hiya Walden,
Thanks for sharing this.
Firstly, this guy has picked up signals that you fancy him.
That said, it isn't a law for him to reciprocate your feelings.
He clearly isn't interested in you.
Please don't blame men or women... he was trying to get away and wanted to be polite, but was possibly egged on by others at the party.
Forget it and move on.
Yesterday has gone... learn by it, but don't drag it around with you.
Plan for tomorrow, but please. live today!
Learn from it.
Good luck on your journey
Dream-Maker

No, in my experience ANY age is the age where Men play games. He knows you're into him and he loves that, so he's just keeping you happy 'in case'. S*d him, best thing to do is ignore him completely, this always works - there's nothing they hate more when you stop chasing! Let him chase you, if he doesn't then whatever, move on hunnie! (btw a 28yr old should be thrilled that a 21yr old is into him!)

Your right, he is playing games.

And like you say if he cannot spare 10 minutes just to pop in and say hello then he will probably have a heart attack soon anyway.

Either way you are better off without him.
