Default Why blame the video game industry?

Im finding it kinda of strange why loads of American mothers are complaining about games haveing, sex, drugs and violence.

Yet whats the different between watching...SAW (example) and playing Gears of War? they are both 18+ both of them are rated 'Strong Bloody Violence' yet mothers always blame the videos games when infact all a kid has to do is log on a computer and go on redtube for example.

The only different is that films you watch and games are just interactive animations.

Even Viva Pinata (xbox360) was on T.V due to violence...when you just grow gardens? i loved that game

And if someone kills someone in Gears of War or Halo, im pretty sure they have more common sence than to go out to a shop a chainsaw someone...since when do you see 5 years olds with chainsaws?

And who buys there M+ games for them anyway, the kids have no jobs...Hmm, and why do parents say games a sexual when all a woman does is flash her knickers like 'Dead or Alive'?

They gotta blame something i think, if its not tv, its gotta be video games but its not and a study has shown that video games dont increase violence, the personality does
