Wii board and games?

Is it any good at motivating you to lose some pounds?
Is the 'trainer' motivating, helpful etc considering its a computer?

Is the new Mario fighting game any good? I like Mario Party 8, but feel that rather then having a dart board you should be able to select a victim! is there any versions that actually let you do this?
