why is it that the security guard industry is dominated by one race?

in the uk majority of store security guards are blacks especially in the cities, why?
is it because the majority of shoplifting crimes are commited by blacks, and it maks sense that blacks should be catching black thieves.

I am sure it is because the majority of the people in that area are black, so they have those jobs because there are more of that nationality in that area then any other and they are in that profession, it is a men's position, you don't see many women getting hired as a security guard either butit has nothing to do with how does the most stealing on who is going to work in that position. I am sure that if that is the case in that area that black people steal more then other it is because the black to white ratio is probally 10-1 so obviously they are going to steal more there are 100 to ten black people walking into that store everyday, there is obviously going to be numbers to show that they steal more if there is 100 times more black people in that area. So this really doesn't answer your question but I hope it may shed a bit of light on your opinion of who's stealing the most in your area and why it may appear that way

It's more likely because it's a low paid and boring job, and like most low paid boring jobs white Brits refuse to do them because they think they're better than that. Same thing applies to low paid jobs that are hard work, like seasonal workers on farms (harvesting berries, veggies etc) and running corner shops - how many Brits do you know who would get up to open their shop at 7am and not close until 11pm 6 days a week?
