Default Loosing my voice.....but I have a trade day on Monday!!?

I have had a cough for most of this week and a sore throat but not enough to run off the doctors. I have an active 2.5 yr old sonot talking is NOT an option!! Any Ideas as my voice is getting worse each day and as I have a Jewellery sales night on Monday which I am selling at....... what can I do to get it back by then???

Try your hardest to rest your voice. Time is the best medicine.
Gargling salt water can also prove helpful. As will sucking on losenges.

I know how you feel.....I had been suffering the same symptoms for 10 days, taking paracetomol and cough medicine but in the end, had to resort to a visit to the doctors only to be told I had a chest virus. Had to have a course of antibiotics and co-codomol.
After 10 days, my croaky voice has practically returned, the cough has gone and I'm feeling much better.
Sounds like you need to do the same....visit to your GP !

sloe gin is very good - my friend who is a singer swares by it

make sure the little one is in bed cos you dont wanna be getting tipsy with him around !!!

If you're in the uk, you can get pastilles called Vocalzone from a pharmacy, they taste disgusting but get your voice back! Good luck!!
