hi ive got a nokia xpressmusic 5300 phone- how do you set a song for a ring tone?

ive looked through all the instructions and trawled the website - ive put a list of songs onto my phone from my laptop. the man in the shop who sold it to me said i could have any song ive put on my phone as a ring tone. ive done the first stage but cant seem to find out how i can put one of them set to my ring tone.
anybody know?

-Settings
-Profiles
-General
-Personalise
-Ringing tone - click change
-Open Gallery
-Go to the music folder (or memory card - music, if you've got a memory card)
-then just find the song

I've given electro star the 'thumbs up for (my) best answer. I only wanted to add that if I remember right, if you are using a track from your memory card when you take the card out for whatever reason you will have to set the track as a ringtone again as it kind of resets to the standard one.
