ok i go to a youth group and im 16 in the group there is all ages from 8 - 16. one boy took a liking to me, and the other day he told me he loves me, the problem is he is 9 , how do i let him down gently?
Why do, or say, anything? Just take it as a compliment and smile :-) After all when my son was all of 5 years old he asked me to bake a cake for him to take to school as he was getting engaged to Gemma. He even wanted to be dressed in his best clothes. I did what he asked because I knew that the "engagement" would last all of a few weeks.
My son is now 26 and still single :-)
he's only 9 you don't need to say anything back to him he's only a munchkin.....your 16 so im sure your mature enough to just be nice to him,don't be mean!!!!
aw thats so cute he probably doesnt literally mean he 'loves' you so whatever you say won't realy hurt him just break it to him gently by saying something like "aw youre so cute, but youre only 9"
