Well, that just goes to show that one of my comments i often use on here is correct.
If we don't check the ingredients, we are playing guesswork with our morals.
many dairy products contain pork geletin, including many yogurts.
Vegetarians should check all ingredients, if we don't, we are guessing.
and the common example i use is tinned vegetables..... Sainsbury's tinned carrots are washed in a solution containing beef fat, apparently it improves the colour.....If you don't have a "suitable for vegetarians" declaration on the packet, you HAVE to check with the manufacturer. Ingredients used during processing and that only leave trace quantities in the final product are exempt from ingredients list.
I don't see why someone says they should advertise it or "its a trick". Not true, its our choice to be veggies and so down to us to ensure we eat veggie food.
