Default What happened to that ready-made letter we came across on the net to get back cash

that our banks took from us? These letters, professionally composed were also in newspapers some time ago, with advice telling us that if we had been shafted by pound-pinching banks, just copy the letters, word by word, and scuttle to your bank with letter, either printed off on your computer, or written and (allegedly) you would get most - or perhaps all of your moneys back. Did it work?
Sal and Teala...relax - I don't need it yet, but I wondered how many of us poor folk took advantage of it. And what were they mad about?!
Cari - the letters may have been 'removed' from public domain, but I'm sure many still have the letters in their computers to use, or pass around to friends who have been stung badly for being over their overdraft limit!

I know many people it worked for including myself.

All banks are robbing mother feckers.

You can't claim bank charges back right now - these cases are being held whilst the High Court investigates whether you should be able to claim them back or not, on the basis that the banks clearly communicated the terms of your account to you so if you breached these terms, they could be allowed to charge you.

So, these letters have probably been removed from the public domain until this is resolved.
