Default Dropped my Motorola Razr V3 in a bowl of water...?

It works after a dry in the airing cupboard (all taken apart) but will it eventually conk out because of this? How long should it stay apart? What's this about a red dot in the battery compartment? Does that prove it's been dunked?! Any advice appreciated...

I dropped my Sony Ericson in the bath.....

Now this rule is extremely important....

Never try to switch it on if its wet after the dunk, because it will short out the circuits and shizzle....

Always let it completely dry first for 48 hours or so....

:]

Remove the battery cover, battery and sim card from the phone and place the phone is a bowl of rice. Make sure the phone is totally covered by the rice and leave it for at least 24 hours. Any excess water in the phone will be absorbed by the rice and if you're lucky, you might get away with having no future problems because of this. The rice really does work, as I myself have used the method and other users on here have tried it after I suggested and they also have managed to get their phone back to running properly. Good luck.

Hmm dropped it in a bowl of water? Lol you mean the loo! Dry it out for a couple of days in the airing cupboard. Clean the battery terminals on the battery itself and in the phone. Dont know what you mean re the red light. My brother dropped his phone down the loo and after a thorough clean it was perfectly ok. I dont think it will suffer too much!
