im 35 weeks plus 2 days and today went to hospital and they moniterd the baby.the
heart rate of baby was? between 130 to 160 and above.i have heard that this is the heart rate of girls please tell me from your experience(not the old wives)is it true or should i still hope for a boy.thanks

When I was pregnant with my first son I was told the heart beat was fast and probably a girl. Must have been a silly superstitious midwife as I have had been told since it is a load of rubbish by many midwives and doctors .I have 1 girl and 3 boys and all the heartbeats were fast. You should have asked at your second scan but I think it's 50/50 girl or boy.Babies are all the same anyway don't worry about what sex the baby is.
In general, a girl's heart rate is faster, but it's not a sure way to determine sex. I did not find out the sex of my last baby, and because the heart rate was always over 140, I started to think I was going to have a girl. I ended up having a boy.
