I'm kinda like you. I'm due today.. No baby yet.. No contractions.. Just an active baby. I got my membranes
Swept monday... and I spotted all that night.. Next day had brownish red discharge overnight. All it was...was dried up blood..
I'm a tight 1 dialated and 75 % effaced.. Its my first baby. I go see my dr monday. If I haven't popped.. He is gonna induce me. I'm so ready for it.

Yes this is normal, it was most likely your mucus plug. It still could be another week and a half, you can't really tell. I went 11 days past my due date and my doctor did 3 membrane sweeps on me and none of them worked, I ended up having to get induced. If your body is ready then it will work, but if not then you have a little more waiting to do, congrats and you are so close!
