windows vista. Help please?

I have windows vista now and how do i clear the history on search bar next to the URL bar it really annoys me because every time i search something the whole history drops down. On windows XP you could click clear history and it deleted it all i don't think its on here so does anyone no how i can clear it, its really getting on my nerves.

That's not really a Windows Vista or Windows XP question, it's more of a question on your web browser. And it depends on which browser you're using. It could be Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or others. If you're using Internet Explorer 7 (or 8 beta), you can just go to Tools on the top menu, then Internet Options, and there's a place in there for you to delete history of web address, cookies, and so on.

On the menu bar hit tools and then hit delete browsing history. or on the tabbed browsing bar drop down errow next to tools and click delete browsing history, or right click the Internet Explorer icon and click properties then delete browsing history.

Press Alt + T together. This will bring up the tools menu. Then go to options. Then click on 'delete' under browsing history. Then click on 'delete all.'
