Nancy drew: curse of blackmoor manor installs on my windows Vista, but wont load!!?

But when i try loading it says: ERROR - incorrect path to INI file - C:\Nancy Drew\Curse of blackmoor manor\Game.INI
Help please, i dont know whether i have DirectX installed, would that be the problem?? HELP PLEASE... ASAP!!
And it should work on Vista, right?
