...for the various sites I enrol? Because I'm registered to different sites with different u/names & p/words, I have 2 write them all down in a book. Is there an easier way to store on my pc, if so, which icon etc. do I do this on?

IE and firefox pretty much fail at password storage. try using the opera browser. its better, and faster. and has a great system for storing passwords. whenever you log into something it asks you to save the password, and then next time you log in you hit CONTROL ENTER. and then it logs you in automatically with the username and password you stored.

yes there is easiest way
in u'r vista sidebar add a gadget which stores passwords

u can easily search this gadget using + button on sidebar

Stick with writing the passwords in a book as from a security point of view it is absoulute madness to have passwords stored in your computer.
