Does anyone know any good, and preferably free, registry repair programmes? I'm a bit dubious about some of the ones I've found - CCleaner seems like the best bet but am still erring on the side of caution, so would appreciate any advice/help.
Ccleaner is probably the best free registry tool around, simple user interface, you can make backups before you make any changes all that. Registry Booster is good but if I remember correctly you have to pay for full functionality.
