How can i circumvent or cancel password request upon power up on Windows Vista

... I'm the only user of this p I have a new PC w/ Windows Vista ..... Vista ain't all That!!!Why must I sign in every time I power up my PC?
Vista is nothing more than an over protective mother hen.
"ARE YOU SURE? ... ARE YOU SURE? ... ARE YOU SURE?
YOU WANT TO DO THAT?" Every five minutes!!!!!!!

Click on the Windows logo, bottom left of task bar, up and across to Control Panel, then click on Add or Remove user accounts under the User Accounts and Family Safety Category. YOu will have to say OK for permission to access this (safety precautions in your own interests), click on the administrator icon that you want to change and then I believe you have to untick the password box. Sorry if this is not clear, relying on memory as I have removed my password so only have the option to create again.
