How to do that in the debian. can you explain each point giving examples?
1. Download the eagle-usb driver on www.eagle-usb.org
2.Extract the archive whereever you want.
3. Cd to the new created folder named eagle-usb(version...)
4.Open a terminal
5. Type: ./configure (if there's something missing, try to update it, and read the messages carefully)
Type: make clean
Type: make (you should get no errors)
Type: make install
can i extract to the desk?
what's cd to the new...?

yes you can extract to the desktop.

should be in /home/yourname/desktop

cd is a terminal command that means change directory. steps 4 and 3 are switched.

so open a terminal, type pwd to see what directory you are in and ls to see whats in the directory, cd to select a directory and cd.. to go up a directory.

when you're in the directory you extracted, type that stuff they told you to type.
