Fedora 9, can I have some help please ?

I am trying to install Fedora 9 on a Medion MD96490 laptop and I can only install in text mode, the graphics are VIA chrome9 HC, the rest of the computer is more than up to spec, what can I do to install in graphics mode or failing that using text mode how do I download the correct drivers, Fedora recognises the graphics card I have but won't install the gaphical interface. If it means anything Ubuntu and Mandriva failed to install as well.
