How do you pronounce Linux?

I need to read it phonetically.

I say Lyn-ucks but I could be mispronouncing it to the mainstream.

You are saying it right, ie as it is spelled, rather than Leinux, rather like a case of neether or neither (spelling given only to emphasise difference in pronounciation.)
