how to extract values from a tool running on the desktop(open suse 10.3 OS)

without changing its code? the name of the tool is robust audio tool. I tried compiling the code but it doesn't seem to be compiling. I am getting an error. The main aim is to extract the values (like delay, jitter and packet loss) and store it in a file for future use.
