What do you reckon to taking the law into our own hands?

If there were gangs of thugs and criminals in an area, would you agree to a group of 'hard men' taking the law into their own hands and giving them a good hiding where necessary? Nothing too nasty, just black eyes and bruises?

Given that the police do f*ck all - when my husband was at uni, a local heroin addict beat him up. I called the police.... and they turned up the next day! Nothing of course happened to the guy (we knew where he lived and his name) and he's probably still doing the same thing. In my view he deserves a kicking for what he did, thinking he can beat people up as he wishes.

I think it would be dangerous, because these people don't stop at black eyes and bruises, and you could finish up in a real battlefield. Remember these idiots have nothing better to occupy themselves than seeking revenge, and they hunt in packs.

the reason why the uk is going to the dogs is because there is no damn discipline. IF you can get away with it then YES go for it. if the law cant help good law obiding citezans but chooses to take the side of the criminal what hope do we have?

The police do sweet FA as most of the time there is too much red tape holding them back. Criminals have more rights than those who do right.

Great idea; the police and Govt wouldn't be able to lock up everyone if we all began practicing Zero Tolerance towards these morons. Give them back a bit of their own Civil Disobedience medicine !!

I would like to say yes but we can not sink to their level. Give the police more powers, let them wack a teenager round the head and stop with this PC attitude. Bring in a zero tolerance with thugs.
