Are Non-EU LLB graduates in the UK allowed to practice Law there?

Are LLB graduates of UK universities that are NOT nationals of the European Union allowed to practice Law in the UK?

If not, it can be practiced using the International Graduate Scheme for a year right? And if an employer sponsors your work permit for a legal job, that's still possible right?

I think they would be allowed but if it was Scotland you cant practise law in England as the law system is different. Graduate scheme might not be long enough as in Scotland it takes 7 years to become a lawyer.
