Default Question for mums, Do you feel like your siblings or in-laws kids are being

brought up to be spoilt brats? i can't stand my sister in laws kids they are so spoilt with the latest of every electronic gadget. I couldn't believe that i had to show them how to play together at a simple game of skipping ropes in the garden where everyone (adults included) had so much fun together with out costing a single penny, that's just one example. I haven't mentioned anything to the parents but i find it horrible that the older boys in particular play really terrible violent video games on computer. Have you ever mentioned to your family that a kid is being spoilt? What's the best way to get a point across but without starting world war 3 in the family? or you think it's something best left well alone?

Lol, it is very hard with in laws I know. My partners family is quite large and we have family members of varying incomes. One sister in law comes to mind, both her and her husband work and are in well paying jobs, one of their sons got a ps3 for his birthday and games from family and friends (they live away from us and we buy for our own kids from each other), even though the family is large we have allotted a $40 limit to presents, if there is something more expensive then it comes from a couple of families. There was no way that boy got the PS 3 from the family at $600+...........and I wont even start on the other son. But I guess that if they want to spend the money and in such terms "spoil" their kids it is up to them, but I don't take crap from these kids and they know it!! lol
