Im curious to know if the religious folk out there would break the law to follow a passage that was writen in a book thousands of years ago ? Isnt the bible pretty much an ancient law book?

If you have no interest in following a religious path why keep bothering those who do? You are a bully who needs someone to taunt. Find a constructive hobby.

Different people see the Bible in different lights. Some see the book as being essentially about law.

The Bible is essentially a book about faith. Those who had and developed faith, and those who were faithless. Israel was faithless, and given the law of the old covenant as a result.

The new testament is about a "law" of faith and not a written code of do's and don'ts.

If you read the entire Bible, in context, you would never want to break a law to follow a passage written in a book thousands of years ago.

All the laws in the USA are based on the Bible.

Laws such as "Don't murder" and "Don't steal".

no there are huge differences between mans laws and what GOD has declared to be sin.
GOD is holy his ways are higher than ours his thoughts pure and clean.
man is not capable of this as we are born into sin and by our very nature are sinful.
