can someone guide me through the Uk laws for BLANK guns?? : )?

hi... i was wondering if blank guns come under the "GUN" law act.... like... are you aloud to carry them in public? does it legally have to be an orange gun or just an orange tip gun?? stuff like that... a link would also help : ) thank you, bye

If you carry an imitation firearm in the street, and you point it at someone and they perceive that to be threatening... then that is against the law whether the gun is orange or not.

The law has recently changed so that all air pistols, etc, have to be completely coloured or see-through (as in not metal). However, there will always be unscrupulous sellers in the market that sell imitation firearms that look like the real thing.

Why would you want to carry one in the street anyway? If you fancy getting the armed cops called because you are scaring the bejesus out of the public, then go ahead and take your chances

Forget it. You could be shot. We were filming with imitation firearms when suddenly we were surrounded by the police tactical firearms unit. They were ready to open fire. Find another hobby for a longer life.
