How can the Anglican church approve of other religious laws?

To tolerate something or recognize another religion's right to their own laws is not the same as agreeing with it, or even condoning it. As a Christian, I respect the rites and laws of other faiths, but don't agree with them, or feel I need to appropriate them for myself. There can be a "both /and" in religious matters, it doesn't have to be "either/or."

I do not think it is the church in general just one Bishop who thinks he is above reproach. a bit like the pope really.
