Someone my wife knows is studying history to get in to law how does this work?

I am probably missing something but what does history have to do with law

There are very few schools who actual have Law as a major for undergraduates. And if so if one was to go to Law school, they would have to be reintroduced to Law in much more specific ways in relation to the type of law one wants to practice.

I am planning to go to law school and I am double majoring in Political Science and History.

This is usually the norm for potential law school students.

Well law's all about reading, understanding, analysing, coming to conclusions from evidence.. and so is history
