How many hours do you spend at uni and how many hours self study on average.

Many Spend 30 Hours A Week. When I self study I spend about 10 hours. I am also going for law.

I am a postgrad law student. I only spend time in campus as required by the university. The rest of my time are all spent on studying at home. It all depends on what depth you want and how broad you want your knowledge. Of course your reading results mean exactly your future earning capacity. Writing term papers for each subjects for around 3,000 to 4,000 words are normal. And most schools require doing a research or a dissertation that resmebles a thesis of a master or Ph.D. albeit in shorter length. Advocacy is also important.

It depends wheather you are studying it in the united states or the UK, I heard you are stuck for a awful long time in the liabry and it iis very time consuming, but then again so are all degrees, my cousine who does law in the US loves it and goes its worth it, I was planning to do Law here in the Uk, but then changed my mind in the last minute, and now I am thinking have I made the right decision...hmmmm.....oh well everything happnes for a reason hey?

I'm in my third year and spend about 10-12 hours a week in uni. They expect you to prepare for 10 hours for each seminar you have in your Honours subjects.

In second year it's much more than that! Last year I was in uni 9-5 and spent about that amount of time preparing for tutorials.

As someone said in another question, law students have no life! But trust me, once you get your degree it'll all be worth it! That's what I keep telling myself as I'm writing my 4000 word essay on the history of accident claims.
