Why can I not play chess etc. on my yahoo? I have have java script enabled...

...can't understand why not!? every time I try to play a game on yahoo's chess etc I cannot because apparently my java script is not activated, when I check it i'm told I have the recomended version, plus my acer inspire one (linux) net book tells me java script is enabled, eh? please help me I love chess
