java system with online games?

after long period regularly playing online games (e.g.Pogo),now find java blocked despite un-installing..attempt to re-install failed.

Pogo suggests using Sun Java, which is free to download. You can test your computer's java by going here:

If you do not have the latest version, you can download it from that site as well.
After going to java.com its a good idea to visit this Pogo Help page to see if your java and other things are set the best way for playing pogo.

On the left side of this page is an area called TOOL BOX. Go there to test your "pogo settings." Hope this helps!
