I know thousands of people have them every day, but how many of us are scared sh*tless?

It's because we are not in control of what is happening to us and we fear we will not wake up.

for me its the knowledge that something can knock me out like...

count to three pls...

On.....

gone...

and then the next thing which feels like only a second has gone by...you waking up with a massive cut on your belly that hurts like hell...

yeah...dont like thinking about it really...

...some ppl are scared they wont wake up ... which is why I wrote letters to my loved ones before going in for surgery...you know just in case ....

because we dont like to lose control

Well a lot of people have died under anaesthetics.!!!

Because sometimes you can die while under anaesthetic and the fear is always there.

Because we are putting are trust in someone who could potentionally give us too much and kill us! Also you never know if your going to wake up..............

Because it's like being forced into sleep.

I like the feel of it ,,,if you dont wake up you wouldnt know the difference !

I dont find them scary :| I have had 4 anaesthetic injections and didnt mind
