Default Does anyone else think the Olympics is more enjoyable than the FIFA World

Cup, and with a more relaxed ? family atmosphere. You don't get the drinking and agression from the spectators.

I can't stand football and even though I'm proud to be English, it doesn't do the country and favours so I'm glad they didn't make it to Europe. The whole game has been taken over by their chavy wags that the media is trying to make all young girls want to be like, instead of interesting and intelligent people.

The olympics is probably more relaxed and family-oriented but the world cup is far more enjoyable.

Football is a passionate sport and sometimes emotion gets the better of people but these days its very family friendly and at the world cup security is extremely tight. When I was a boy (25 years ago) fighting between fans made going to the football very dangerous indeed but now I wouldn't even hesitate to take my young boys to any football match.
I tried to go to the olympics but the cost was emourmous. I decided to pay the money and go anyway but getting tickets was almost impossible and even then I couldnt get a visa. In the end I just gave up.
So in summary I would rather go to the footie and watch the olympics on the telly.
