I can't believe I'm saying this but I think he is right. Last season where Arsenal went to Stamford Bridge and Anfield, they played the 'beautiful game', dominated the whole game but didn't come out with anything, heres a few examples. When Arsenal went to Old Trafford where they were the better team in the first half with the most chances, breaking United down with their football but at the end It was United that won, I wouldn't say ugly though, 2 weeks before that the way Chelsea won 2-1 at the Bridge. Now that was ugly! I can't remember them keeping the ball on Arsenal's half for even 5 minutes, but then again at the end they won & got the 3 points.

BQ : Do you think IF Arsenal are gonna win the title next season they have to focus on winning the way like Chelsea do sometimes ? Forget the sexy football, get dirty, win dirty ? Grinding out the results and what matters the most----> the 3 points.

Beautiful football doesn't exactly stop Arsenal from winning does it? Man United played beautiful football all through last season(bar the 1st leg of the Barcelona match) and came out with trophies, Barcelona played beautiful football all through 2006 and won trophies too. Playing beautiful football and winning can be mixed.

but i noe wat ur saying sometimes playing dirty is the only wat to get results happnd to my team we got done but all the low teams that play dirty. i think no matter which way aresenal plays they wont be able to dominate as much as they used to. Aresenal is full of young gungs now that dont have as much skill and experience as the other players give Aresenal a few years and they will be a gun team so just for now hope for the best

Arsenal sometimes try to walk the ball into the net. who gives a shit about pretty football, theres no trophies for that. Success is measured on what trophies you win. Its the results business they're in, not the entertainment industry. Winnings all that matters. im not an arsenal fan but if i was it would piss me off bigtime. all the best gooner boy
