What Do You Think Of Platini's Comments/ Of Modern Football?
He said two things:
1. (Using Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer as an example) "Players are transfered to clubs similarly like the slave trade with no thoughts and concerns to the players" (or off similar wording)
2. Rules should change to allow the "six+ five rule" stating that 6 players in the starting line up must be eligible for the national team (in other words say for Manchester united for example they must start with 6 or more english players in the team)
I agree with the first point to SOME extent. Top players like Ronaldo are beings thrown around mainly by the media and rumours (of which Ronaldo seems to by thrown by it all)
His second point is ludecrous. Football is a mixed national game. Without this football with become generic and merly not good to watch
I don't known if hes comments were aimed JUST at English football or not
