I'm thinking about writing a film, It's a thriller centred around a child's
disappearance? The main plot is simple. A group of wealthy doctors go on holiday but tragedy strikes and a child is abducted. We deal with the family's grief within the first half. Wait! something isn't right. Slowly we uncovered the seedy underbelly of just what happened that night. The wealthy doctors had been involved in "swinging". They drugged the children but gave Matilda too much. They panic. The parents Kathy and Jeremy concoct a story intertwining the whole holiday group which they will defend as the truth to the death. Why I hear you ask? Because all the children had been drugged. They got involved in antics that would kill them socially and professionally. What happens after is a dramatic and all consuming media marketing campaign designed with the purpose of getting money for lawyers which they will NEED because they are of course guilty. In the end I’m not sure what will happen. Does anyone think this is a good plot?
