Ok first i will buy a decent server

i am planning to have Linux installed
which Linux os
my question is

What mods will i need to install

somethings are you must have for a server such as php mysql etc.. what are the others

i need almost all of the list

and the server will support video streaming, what do i need for this?

and suggestions which control panel I should use Plesk ??
