Default Help! I would in a call centre and through boredom i eat crisps and...

...chocolate all day from the ....? the vending machines. Im putting on weight but cant seem to stop myself. Even if im not hungry im picking at unhealthy foods. I even take healthy snacks to work but end up leaving these and eating rubbish from the machine. I dont do this at home just at work. Its making me feel really sluggish!

Any advice?

I used to eat all sorts of junk from machines and buy chocolate at the weekends.The best things you could do is,
A) Avoid the vending machine try walking a different route or be in a conversation when you walk past.
B) Choose the healthier options,dark chocolate instead of milk,baked crisps instead of fried, etc.
C) Do more excersise to make up for the food and when at home eat salads and other healthy stuff.

eat weight watchers bars or buy innocent smoothies - something that tastes nice and also helps. also in mornings before work or on weekends go to the gym or go running around your home, making a PEP may also help.

dont take money with you only what you need eg. for bus ect
tell your friends not to lend you any and keep taking grapes carrot sticks ect.

Try chewing gum to keep your mouth busy, and don't bring any spare change for the vending machines. Do everything you can to remove the possibility that you'll dive into the unhealthy snacks! Keep bringing healthy stuff to work and try to snack on that. It's up to you to control the snacking, but you can definitely do it if you just remove the option of buying the bad treats. Good luck!
