Why are Banks & major businesses call centres not hooked up via VOIP (skype) yet. ?
We still have to pay to wait, which I think is ludicrous? What dya all think?
So maybe I should start charging everybody & all my friends to contact me & put them on hold & listen to crazy Robotic type music on the other end & see what happens!
They are 0845 numbers which means they get a slice of the call charge. The longer you are left holding on, the more money they make. They're hardly going to give up this source of revenue just to save you money.
Write a letter. It's far more effective and usually gets answered by someone who knows what they are talking about.
