Any tips for making outbound sales calls in a call centre?

How do you start a sales call well (avoiding closed questions at the start of the call) plus completing a good needs analysis without making it sound like an interrogation?

Gosh the guy above me answered your question just the way i would of lol But i would of also said to be as polite as you can, not up their ass or nothin but talk to them about other things, not just the product you are selling. Also always tell them your full name and don't out talk them, let them get a word in too. Oh just one more thing..think of what it is your selling and then come up with some good questions to ask people, if their answer is yes or no then you will know if they will find the product usefull. Then you will feel more like you are helping them then trying to just sell them something..this is also a good way to get into a converastion with them

response to outbound calls are horrible...thanks to caller ID
you have to make loads and loads of calls to get sales,its tough but not impossible.
I think you have to sound confident and know what you're talking about..it does'nt matter what words you are saying.If you sound like a professional you will have people talk to you.
