I really really want to do a dance program...?

I am trying to turn my life around. I am really passionate about dance and have been taking ballet classes at a studio for just over a year now.

I am 24 and finished a degree in PR about two years ago, but my heart was never in it.

Now I really want to take a dance related course whether it be degree or diploma...and it seems I am not going to be able to because they are wanting people with three years experience or more.

With enough passion and another year of work before applying, is it possible I can still get onto a course?
I live in the Toronto vicinty in Canada and I hold dual citizenship with the UK.

Try community theatre. In my area we have about 5 different theatre production companies that do an average of 6 shows each year. Some of those shows are Dance or Musical, and are a great place to learn from people that have similar inspirations, and many have talents they will share.
